Job Summary

The Center for Excellence in Writing is currently seeking Student Writing Assistants to join their team of professionals. Duties to include :

• Assisting with writing-intensive courses to facilitate active learning in the classroom within small groups of students.
• Writing Assistants are assigned to 10-12 students per semester, guide group discussion among those students during class time, and host weekly office hours to provide students with thoughtful and effective feedback on their written drafts of assignments.
• Writing Assistants also serve as mentors to students and bridge the gap between faculty and students.
