Estimated Weekly Pay : $2,110 - $2,260

Assignment Length : 13-week travel nursing contract

Start Date : January 5, 2026

Shift : Day shifts, 3x12-hour (06 : 45-19 : 15 or 09 : 00-21 : 30)

Hours per Week : 36

Guaranteed Hours : 60 hours per 2 weeks

On-call : Limited to coverage for call-offs

Weekend Requirement : Yes

Floating : May float to similar units or affiliate hospitals

Charting System : Epic EMR

Scrub Color : Provided

Parking : Free onsite parking

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience

Active Alaska RN license (pending license accepted; must be in hand for auto offer)

BLS certification required

ACLS and CNOR certifications preferred

Travel nursing experience required

Proficiency with Epic charting system

Must reside at least 50 miles from facility (no local candidates)

Willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)

Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years

Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver expert perioperative nursing care for trauma, cancer, pediatric, orthopedic, neuro, ENT, urology, dental, eye, gynecological, vascular, and day surgery patients

Circulate and scrub a variety of surgical procedures : bariatric, ortho / spine, neuro, gyn, ENT, breast, Ivor Lewis / Whipple, urology, and vascular surgeries

Utilize advanced surgical technologies including Da Vinci Xi Surgical System, Mazor Robot Spine, and Stealth

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams : radiology, pharmacy, lift teams, and unit secretaries

Float to similar units or affiliate hospitals as needed

Participate in on-call rotation and provide weekend coverage

Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR

Comply with hospital policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards
