Senior Director of Finance Technology

LinkedIn is the world's largest professional network, built to create economic opportunity for every member of the global workforce. Our products help people make powerful connections, discover exciting opportunities, build necessary skills, and gain valuable insights every day. We're also committed to providing transformational opportunities for our own employees by investing in their growth. We aspire to create a culture that's built on trust, care, inclusion, and fun where everyone can succeed. Join us to transform the way the world works. At LinkedIn, our approach to flexible work is centered on trust and optimized for culture, connection, clarity, and the evolving needs of our business. The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team. This role will be based in San Francisco or Mountain View, CA.

What You'll Do

As the Senior Director of Finance Technology, you will :

  • Set a multi-year technology and AI strategy for LinkedIn Finance - modernizing ERP and financial systems while embedding intelligence and automation into core processes.
  • Lead Finance's AI journey, identifying opportunities to augment decision-making, automate workflows, and scale capacity through agentic and low-code technologies.
  • Oversee and evolve our finance product roadmap across Controllership, Strategic Finance, and FinTech enablement (e.g., self-service payments and transactions on the LinkedIn platform).
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering and Product Management teams to design, deliver, and scale custom solutions that meet Finance's evolving needs - bringing business and operational considerations to our architecture & design decisions.
  • Define the future model for the business and engineering collaboration, balancing agility with governance as AI and low-code tools empower business teams to build solutions directly and engineering focuses on delivering connected, secure foundations.
  • Partner cross-functionally across the CFO organization, Engineering, Data, and Operations teams to align Finance's technology foundation with LinkedIn's enterprise priorities, architecture, and AI strategy.
  • Guide ERP modernization readiness, including business case development, sequencing, and architecture for LinkedIn's next-generation financial platform.
  • Lead and inspire a diverse team of business product owners, process analysts, and program leaders - fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive technology leverage, ensuring every investment increases scalability, resilience, and efficiency across the CFO organization, with continuous focus on ROI.
  • Support large-scale change management efforts, helping the Finance organization adopt new systems, processes, and ways of working through clear communication, enablement, and stakeholder engagement.
