The nurse will circulate and monitor cases, pre and post-procedure. The nurse will also conduct pre-procedure and post-procedure patient calls. The average number of cases is 4 per day, which includes a combination of cath and interventional radiology patients. Common diagnoses include STEMI, NSTEMI, and pacemakers. The ideal candidate should be willing to learn interventional radiology techniques. The work schedule consists of 4 shifts per week, each lasting 9 hours. Call is required, including approximately 10 weeknight calls per month. Weekends will require call every third weekend, along with shared holiday call among staff. The call response time is expected to be within 30 minutes. The dress code includes provided scrubs. Orientation will take place over a series of days following a general orientation. The department uses Epic and associated equipment for documentation and monitoring. The position involves working closely with a manager and charge nurse in a collaborative environment. Candidates must be prepared to comply with the cancellation policy, which allows for a limited number of shifts to be canceled during the assignment. Floating to other facilities is not required.
