Key Responsibilities :

• Patient Care

Provide comprehensive inpatient care during the night shifts.

• Manage admissions, ongoing patient care, and discharge planning as needed.
• Coordinate with nursing staff, ancillary services, and other healthcare providers to ensure high-quality care.
• Coverage

Work exclusively during nocturnal hours, providing consistent night-time coverage.

• Handle all inpatient needs from 7 PM to 7 AM.
• Address urgent and emergent patient conditions in a timely manner.

Practice Details :

• Support Staff

Collaborate with a full team of nurses, physician assistants, and administrative staff.

• Access to specialty consults as needed.
• EMR System

Experience with EMR systems is required, with training provided as necessary.

• Board Certification

Must be board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.

• Licensure

Must hold or be willing to obtain a Tennessee medical license.

• Certification Requirements

BLS and ACLS certifications are required.

• Must be comfortable working independently during night shifts.
• Patient Load

Manage an average of 15-20 patients per night.

• Perform admissions and cover floor calls.
