Job description

Director Of Clinical Operations

At California Autism Center (CAC), we help our clients get school-ready through in-clinic behavioral services that prioritize each child's safety and dignity. Through one-on-one, hands-on learning, our clinicians build trust with each child by providing personalized support and acceptance.

Our naturalistic teaching strategies emphasize learning through play, fostering joy and meaningful growth. We're here to cheer kids on, lift them up, and empower them to learn new things in the way that helps them thrive. CAC is a locally owned and operated ABA service provider in the heart of the Central Valley. We currently have 6 Treatment Centers in Fresno, Merced, and Visalia. The Role

California Autism Center & Learning Group is seeking an experienced Director of Clinical Operations (DCO) to join our team. The DCO will play a vital role in advancing our mission to provide high-quality, compassionate, and evidence-based ABA services across all treatment centers.

Reporting directly to the Chief Clinical Officer, the Director of Clinical Operations oversees internal clinical processes, ensures compliance with state and federal regulations, and upholds the highest standards of treatment quality and integrity. This position works collaboratively with Treatment Center Directors, clinical leaders, and administrative teams to continuously improve operations, training, and service delivery.

This is a full-time, exempt, salaried position based out of our Administrative Office with regular travel to our Fresno, Visalia, and Merced centers.

Requirements

  • Oversee clinical quality assurance, audits, and compliance across multiple treatment centers.
  • Review and maintain clinical documentation, department handbooks, and training materials to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Research and implement best practices in ABA treatment and quality improvement methodologies.
  • Develop and deliver clinical training, CEU events, and ongoing staff education.
  • Conduct client record reviews, analyze clinical outcomes, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with leadership to align clinical goals with organizational strategy and mission.
  • Represent California Autism Center in a positive, professional, and ethical manner in all internal and external interactions.

Preferred :

  • QBS Safety-Care Trainer certification.
  • Experience with CentralReach, Catalyst, or other practice management systems.
  • Familiarity with California behavioral health regulations and payer requirements.
  • Full compensation package are based on candidate experience and certifications.

    California pay range $85,000 - $95,000 USD
