Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A rewarding opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in the Operating Room. This 13-week contract position is located in Brookings, OR, offering the chance to work across all perioperative servicesincluding PreOp, OR, and PACU. The role requires a dedicated professional comfortable with a variable on-call rotation and skilled in multiple surgical specialties.

Responsibilities include providing expert nursing care in the OR environment, supporting procedures in endoscopy, orthopedics (podiatry), eye, urology, general surgery, and gynecology. The nurse will assist with various cases such as endoscopies, pain injections, and cataract surgeries. This position does not include cesarean sections. Maintaining compliance with safety protocols and upholding the highest standards of perioperative care are essential.

Qualifications and Desired Experience :

• Current Registered Nurse license with OR certification
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Experience in endoscopy, ortho (podiatry), eye, urology, general surgery, and gynecology
• Comfortable working a variable on-call rotation
• Ability to function efficiently in PreOp, OR, and PACU settings
• COVID-19 vaccination required; facility exemption forms available
