Associate Quality Engineer

Job Description : Zing Recruiting has partnered with a great company within the Aerospace Manufacturing industry who seeks an experienced Quality Engineer in Bridgeview, IL. This is a direct hire position, looking for someone who has 1-2 years of experience in quality engineering.

Shift : 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday

Pay : 70k

Job Responsibilities :

• Manage the NFC SAE AS9102 First Article Inspection process.
• Participate in the development of corrective actions and continual improvement initiatives.
• Participate in the product design and release process as the Quality Department subject matter expert.
• Develop and maintain process-based metrics with focus on continual improvement.
• Interface with manufacturing personnel to investigate product and process nonconformities.
• Create and maintain quality standards and procedures.
• Manage the NFC Training database to ensure compliance with SAE AS9100 requirements.
• Provide quality system-based training to shop floor personnel.
• Implement process improvements.
• Perform customer data package reviews and participate in customer source inspections.
• Perform inspections ensuring parts and documentation meet QMS requirements.
