Refrigeration Technician

Location : Mansfield, MA

Schedule : 7 : 00 AM – 3 : 30 PM

Pay Range : $30-$35.00

Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Refrigeration Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for charging, testing, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide variety of refrigeration systems used in environmental test equipment. This position requires technical expertise, precision, and hands-on experience with complex systems such as single stage, cascade, and multiple stage refrigeration units.

This position is located in an ITAR-regulated facility .

Key Responsibilities

• Charge, test, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair refrigeration systems using blueprints, schematics, piping diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Assist engineers with test formulation, evaluation plans, and procedures to ensure accuracy of refrigeration system performance.
• Fabricate, assemble, test, and repair cascade and multiple stage refrigeration systems for environmental test chambers.
• Perform leak testing on lines, components, and connections using leak detectors.
• Evacuate systems to remove air and moisture, then charge with specified refrigerant.
• Record and analyze pressure and temperature readings during system testing.
• Diagnose and repair defective refrigeration systems at all levels of assembly.
