About the role
As a Senior Data Scientist (Product), you’ll partner with product and engineering leaders in shaping the strategy for Atlas.
Responsibilities
- Applying expertise in quantitative analysis, data mining, and the presentation of data to see beyond the numbers and understand how Atlas users interact with our products
- Develop data pipelines that convert noisy core datasets into powerful signals of user behavior
- Partner with Product and Engineering teams to solve problems and identify trends and opportunities
- Design and implement dashboards and reports that track key business metrics and provide actionable insights.
- Design, plan, execute and analyze experiments to evaluate the impact of product changes.
- Mentor others as needed to uplift the team’s capacity, and to democratize data knowledge and data insights within the company.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of professional Data Science experience with a strong technological aptitude.Ownership mindset with a focus on fast‑paced, impactful work.Proven ability to effectively collaborate across variety of technical and non‑technical functions to drive towards common product goalsProficiency in quantitative analysis geared towards drawing actionable insights from complex datasetsExperience with data querying languages and scripting languages (e.g. Python)Previous experience mentoring, such as new‑hire buddies, interns, or technical leads.Interest in contributing to the company's growth beyond daily responsibilities.Benefits and perks
