Assistant Hall Director
The Assistant Hall Director position (AHD) works closely with the Hall Director in the development and administration of a residence life program focused on community development and student contact in residence halls. They will serve as the catalyst for the administrative and operational aspects of the residence hall. In addition, they will work closely with the students and student staff in the buildings to create interactions that promote a positive residence hall experience. The AHD will supervise the front-line staff at the 24-hour desk operations and the staff in the post office that handles and delivers mail and packages six days a week. The AHD is responsible for scheduling and payroll of staff working at the desk and the post office. The AHD works closely with the Hall Director in handling student discipline, on call crisis protocol and ensure that all resident issues and needs are resolved and followed up with in a timely manner.
