Position Overview : This locums Emergency Medicine role provides coverage for a hospital in Park Rapids, MN following a retirement and one physician moving to the hospitals primary care clinic. Providers will manage standard emergency department duties with support from a dedicated nursing and CNA team.

Daily Breakdown / Responsibilities :

Average ER volume : ~10,000 visits annually

Average admissions per day : 12 (Hospitalist on duty)

Standard emergency medicine duties in the inpatient / ED setting

Facility Details :

Practice Setting : Inpatient / Emergency Department

Support Staff : 2 RNs and 1 CNA

EMR : Meditech

Requirements :

Board Certified in Emergency Medicine Preferred

Candidates board certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine with ED experience will be considered

Minnesota State License preferred; IMLC accepted

ATLS preferred; CALS with trauma experience accepted
