Job Description

Pride Health is hiring Registered Cardiac Sonographer to support our client's hospital facility in Olathe, KS 66061 . This is 13 weeks of contract with possible extension.

Information :

Location : Olathe, KS 66061

Contract : 13 Weeks with possible extension

Shift Time : M-F, 8 : 30 am-5 : 00 pm

On-Call Requirements : One night per week

Guaranteed hours : 40 hours

Locals' Pay range : $55 - $60 / hour

  • Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, and education.

Travel Gross Pay : $2705 / Week for 40 hours

    Responsibilities :

  • Review patient history, physician orders, and clinical indications before the exam.
  • Explain procedures clearly to patients and obtain consent.
  • Ensure patient comfort, safety, and proper positioning during exams.
  • Acquire and optimize high-quality ultrasound images.
  • Measure and document cardiac anatomy, chamber sizes, valve function, Doppler flow, and hemodynamics.
  • Adjust imaging techniques based on patient condition and body habitus.
  • Assist physicians with specialized procedures such as TEEs and contrast studies.

    • Licensure, Registration, And / or Certification Required :

  • Education : Highschool or GED or equivalent
  • Licensing / Credentialing : RCS-CCI or RDCS-ARDMS; BLS
  • Experience Requirements : 4 years of cardiac ultrasound clinical experience as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer. Performed a minimum of 4000 echocardiograms
  • Experience Preferred : Graduate of programmatically accredited program in cardiac ultrasound / echocardiography. Or graduate of a Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate academic program in Health Science (including, but not limited to, cardiovascular technology, ultrasound, radiologic technology, respiratory therapy, or nursing). Training or certification in IV and UEA contrast administration
