Maintenance Technician
To perform diversified activities related to the maintenance of buildings, specifically concentrated on coatings, wallcoverings and sealants, and wall repairs in preparation for coatings; develop and maintain computerized files, including work orders, supplies and parts inventories as assigned.
Receives general supervision from the Maintenance Coordinator; Exercises no supervision.

Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be :
Minimum Education / Training : High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum Experience : Four years of verifiable combined journeyman level maintenance experience in two of the following areas : Painting, wall repair, sheetrock and plastering, wallcovering, caulking. Must have at least two years of experience in a given area.
License or Certificate : Possession of or ability to obtain an appropriate valid North Carolina driver's license.
