Business Office & Human Resource Manager

Beautiful Assisted Living Community – Norwood, Massachusetts Area

MVP Recruitment is seeking a Business Office & Human Resource Manager to join a beautiful, resident-centered Assisted Living Community in Massachusetts. This key position plays a vital role in the daily operations of the business office while leading the community’s Human Resources function.

Position Overview :

This role is responsible for the management of business office operations—including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and front desk staff supervision—as well as all aspects of HR, including onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, and maintaining compliance with HR policies and documentation requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

Oversee all business office functions including :

Payroll processing

Accounts payable and receivable

Vendor payments and billing

Manage and maintain employee benefits programs, including enrollments and updates

Lead the onboarding process for new hires and maintain complete and compliant personnel files

Implement and enforce HR policies and procedures

Handle workers' compensation reporting, leave tracking, and employee relations matters

Supervise front desk concierge / reception team

Maintain compliance with applicable HR laws and regulations

Support the leadership team with operational and staffing needs

Qualifications :

Experience in a Healthcare or Senior Living setting is required

Prior experience in Human Resources and / or payroll is required

Strong working knowledge of HR practices, employee relations, and compliance

Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel is required; experience with ADP payroll software is a plus

Ability to effectively onboard new staff and manage personnel documentation to meet regulatory standards
