Job descriptionCoordinating and following through on health care services for assigned program(s) Arranging medical services and issuing referrals Providing follow-up on medical issues Conducting staff training in medical administration and infection control Handling control of communicable diseases and implementing preventive measures 6+ months of Nursing experience (new grads welcome) Graduate of an accredited program of professional nursing License and current registration as a Registered Nurse in New York State Knowledge of equipment used by individuals receiving services Strong communication and organizational skills Interpersonal skills to interact with individuals, families, and staff Experience in Community-based Health Services for individuals with Developmental Disabilities CPR certification Experience with OPWDD, Group Home, IDD / DD
