About the role :

Application engineers at Lumafield are experts in our industries and / or our product features. They work closely with the engineering, product, and research teams to understand what our products are capable of and communicate and configure those features successfully for customers. An Application Engineer begins by bringing a solid foundation in engineering and industry experience, then excels by diving head-first into our product portfolio and quickly becoming the internal Lumafield expert in their vertical. Forward-deployed engineers spend most of their time in our offices building their skills and mastering our products, but will also spend significant time on customer calls and at customer facilities to ensure that our customers can achieve their goals with our products.

What you'll do :

• Manage the Application Engineering team based in our San Francisco office
• Hire, train, develop, and deliver a world-class team of experts across Lumafield’s industries and technologies for Lumafield’s customers
• Player-coach – own one of our open Application Engineering roles, either bringing expertise in Electronics or Computer Vision / Machine Learning to our team. Perform the duties of this role and set the standard for excellence.

About you :

$150,000 - $200,000 a year
