- Experience with individual and group psychological interventions
- Competence in crisis intervention and risk assessment
Description :
Responsible for administering and interpreting psychometric tests as part of treatment needs for specific diagnoses.
Administers, scores, and interprets individual psychological tests or test batteries for purposes of crisis intervention, neuropsychological issues, and risk assessment.
Participates in hearings and conducts assessments for potential suicide.
As a member of the interdisciplinary team, responsible for the development and implementation of mental health interventions.
Conducts individual and group clinical interventions as prescribed on the individual mental health treatment plan.
Provides mental health liaison services to an assigned caseload, including monitoring offender compliance with the mental health treatment plan.
Completes detailed screens, mental health evaluations, and crisis services within their scope of practice.
Writes reports and documents to include documentation of all offender contacts and mental health liaison progress note entries.
Completes psychosocial needs and treatment assessments as part of interdisciplinary treatment planning.
Completes transfer and discharge summaries and pre-parole clinical risk assessments.
Consults with other staff regarding the mental health caseload and service needs.
Attends meetings for psychology clinical case consultation.
Attends and instructs in-service training sessions and workshops for professional development.
Conducts expert-witness assessments as needed.
No cell phones permitted until proper paperwork has been submitted and approved.
Must clear a metal detector; restrictions on items such as cans, tobacco, and vapes apply.
Food must be in clear, see-through containers, and no more than one gallon of water is permitted to be brought into the facility.
