Job Title : Procurement / Sourcing Engineer- Automotive Industry

Location : Mossville, Illinois

Job Description & Skill Requirement :

Procurement / Sourcing Engr is responsible to manage sourcing and source moves for complex Iron Castings and Machined Iron Castings.

This position will be responsible for quoting, analyzing quote analysis for best TCO Total Cost of Ownership, managing source moves from current to new supplier, monitoring buffer inventory, managing tool moves associated with source change, working closely with Category Buyers, Supplier Development Engineers, Design Engineers to ensure all requirements for quality, volume, supplier readiness are met, preparing and presenting to Project Stakeholders.

This job role responsibility includes scope from quote to production, Candidate needs to have strong Purchasing, business acumen, presentation, computer skills.

Experience in Purchasing Business Acumen, Global Team Coordination.

Casting, Machining, Engineering, Project Management, New Product Introduction, Supply Chain, Supplier Management, Quality experience will all be beneficial.

This position also responsible working with Cross functional team to complete the Metallurgical, Quality, validation, fitment test to prove out the new sourced part in the Assembly facility and buyin from all the stake holders to close the sourcing cycle process.

Compensation : $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
