As an intern, you will :
- Engage in planning, scheduling, and monitoring material movement to ensure timely delivery to end users.
- Manage exception messages to uphold schedule adherence.
- Determine raw material scheduling requirements based on engineering specifications and production timelines.
- Assist with integrating engineering changes into ongoing processes.
- Monitor supply chain disruptions and reconcile them throughout the program lifecycle.
- Develop and implement strategies for cost-saving initiatives.
- Create and maintain accurate plans for both material and capacity planning.
- Convert planned orders into Production Orders or Purchase Requisitions and ensure their timely completion.
- Balance supply and demand by assessing hardware impacts and coordinating tasks.
- Lead and manage projects assigned by team leadership to achieve organizational objectives.

Required Education
Must have completed at least the Sophomore year of your college or university by the Summer 2026 internship.High School / GED is required.Basic Qualifications
A minimum GPA of 2.90 on a 4.00 scale at the time of application.Must possess a valid driver’s license and have vehicle transportation for certain internship locations.Role Specific Qualifications
Pursuing a degree in a STEM field from an accredited institution.Intend to be enrolled in classes for Fall Semester 2026.Available to work full-time for at least 10 weeks during Summer 2026.Familiarity with Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) concepts.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint).Strong presentation, written communication, and verbal skills.Willing to complete an internship at ULA’s Decatur, AL location.We pride ourselves on our team’s ethic, ingenuity, and commitment to professional growth for all employees.
