Dental Assistant GC25 (Merit)
The University of Iowa's College of Dentistry is looking for a full-time Dental Assistant to join us as a key member of our team in Endodontics to work alongside faculty and residents. Embrace the opportunity to work in an educational setting where each day offers new challenges and rewards!
Assist doctors and graduate students at chairside with dentistry procedures ranging from examination to root canals, retreatments, and surgical procedures.
Maintain a safe work environment and use appropriate protective equipment observing OSHA guidelines.
Maintain and restock supplies and maintain a clean, aseptic operatory and laboratory area.
Expose and process radiographs digital, CBCT scans as requested.
Ability to operate necessary machines and instruments used in Endodontic Dental Assistant duties.
Assist in sophomore lab. Take digital radiographs. Distribute supplies.
College of Dentistry Endodontics
Salary : $46,604.16
Schedule : Monday Friday, 8 : 00am 5 : 00pm. May require occasional overtime.
An advanced starting salary may be possible based on exceptional qualifications.
