About The Position
Job Title : Ultrasound Technologist
Profession : Ultrasound
Specialty : Vascular
Duration : 12 months
Shift : Days
Hours per Shift : 8 hours
Experience : Minimum of 6 months of experience required
License : ARDMS - RDCS and RVT required, but applicants without active copies may be considered
Certifications : BLS (AHA)
Must-Have :
- Ability to perform vein mapping
- Experience with peripheral venous / arterial Dopplers
Description :
Operate imaging equipment and review images to ensure they are of good quality and helpful for diagnosis.
Identify normal and abnormal imaging results.
Communicate a summary of the results to physicians or other health professionals.
Alert physicians to urgent problems.
All compliance must be submitted one week prior to the start date.
Weekend call is required every 6th to 7th week.
