Job description

Perform clerical tasks to support timely escrow closings and title recordings.
Open new orders.
Create closing checklists.
Track file and orders, updating title searches and reviewing completed searches for new items.
Investigate and interpret tax records.
Handle and review original documents for recording.
Assemble and distribute final forms of documents in preparation for closing.
Submit documents for recording, managing any rejections to ensure timely recording.
Upload recorded documents and recording fees.
Create final title policies.
Distribute recorded originals to customers and upload all critical documents to close out the file.
Provide customer service to customers and field escrow offices.
Interpret and act on instructions from customers and title officers.

Title Assistant,Escrow,Customer Service

4+ years of title industry experience; commercial title experience is a plus.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
Strong customer service orientation.
Strong detail orientation.
Leadership skills.
