OBGYN opening - Bradford, PA Located 75m to BuffaloJ1 / H1 Eligible Position Details - Full-time, permanent- Employed- Mostly outpatient + on-call privileges at local hospital. - Community shared OBGYN call schedule- FQHC w / NHSC loan repayment- Flex Schedules : 8 or 10 hour shifts- Clinics are outpatient and provide services to rural areas with the underserved population.- Responsible for providing medical care to women relating to pregnancy or childbirth; responsible for treating, testing, diagnosing and monitoring diseases and provide general care to women. Job Duties - Provide care and treatment to women during prenatal, natal, and postnatal periods.- Diagnose, treat, and monitor diseases, disorders, and conditions.- Prescribe appropriate medications to treat patients in accordance with standardized procedures and company policy.- Perform pap smears, pelvic and breast exams.- Conduct mood and emotional well-being assessments during post-partum appointment.- Collaborate and consult with other medical and non-medical personnel.- Effectively monitor patients progress throughout treatment plan and care and provide continuous improvement on patient outcomes.- Educate patients on importance of treatment plans and communicate side effects and risk of medications prescribed.- Educate patients on disease prevention and reproductive health.- Demonstrate effective and detailed written documentation skills.- Conduct routine check-up appointments and maintain follow up throughout- Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication with patients.- Able to multitask and manage assigned projects and tasks as directed.
