About The Position

Job Title : EP Technologist Profession : EP Technologist Specialty : Electrophysiology Duration : 12 months Shift : Monday to Friday Hours per Shift : 8 hours (0630-1500) Experience : Minimum 2 years License : Required Certifications : BLS, ACLS, ARRT or RCIS Must-Have : Candidate must have experience scrubing ablations, LAAO cases, and devices. Candidate must be able to scrub and monitor. Description : Candidates may not have been directly employed by any associated facility within the past year. Candidates who were employed PRN through outside firms will be considered. Candidates will float between two campuses as needed. The average number of cases per day is 6 across both campuses. There are a total of 5 suites / labs between the two campuses. Common diagnoses include LHC, RHC, IVC filter, PPM, ICD, EP, Peripheral angio / PCI, cerebral angio, aneurysm coiling, stroke thrombectomy, EVAR, and carotid endarterectomy. Candidates are expected to fulfill a mandatory call / standby requirement, with 10-12 on-call shifts per month. The call response time is 30 minutes. Scrub color is navy. Unit department-specific orientation is provided. Floating between campuses is required to provide cardiac, peripheral, neuro, and traumatic embolization patient care. Cancellation policy allows for up to 4 shifts cancellation per 13-week assignment. Charting system in use is MEDITECH. BSN is not required. This is an acute care setting.
