Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist for day shifts with 1+ year of experience, BLS, and WA state certification.

Responsibilities

  • Position is based in a Breast Health Center with floating approximately five times per month to a nearby clinic
  • Primary responsibilities include screening mammograms, with potential to perform diagnostic and procedural mammography if experienced
  • Schedule is Monday through Friday, 5x8 hour day shifts with variable start times at 0700, 0730, or 0800
  • No weekend or call requirements
  • Candidates may float within the hospital as needed
  • EPIC charting experience is required
  • Responsibilities primarily involve performing screening mammograms and, if qualified, diagnostic imaging and breast procedure support
  • Must be able to work with variable start times as assigned
  • Modules required and completed during orientation
  • Return staff must have a one-year gap before being eligible for consideration
  • Up to 5 days of requested time off (RTO) permitted during the assignment
  • Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
  • Professional dress code required; details will be provided during orientation
  • Travel pairs are accepted

    • Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a Mammography Technologist
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Valid WA state certification required
  • 2 years of specialty experience preferred
  • Experience with Epic EMR required
  • License required if applicable
