About the Role :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Billing Specialist to join our client's finance or customer operations team. This individual will play a critical role in managing the end-to-end billing process, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, and supporting customer subscription renewals. The ideal candidate has experience in SaaS billing cycles, subscription management, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities :

Generate and distribute accurate customer invoices in accordance with contract terms and billing schedules.

Manage subscription renewals, including sending renewal notices, updating pricing, and processing changes.

Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and Finance teams to ensure billing accuracy and resolve discrepancies.

Maintain and update customer billing records in CRM and billing platforms (e.g., Salesforce, NetSuite, Zuora, or similar).

Respond to customer inquiries related to invoices, payments, and renewals in a timely and professional manner.

Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances.

Assist with month-end close processes and revenue recognition compliance.

Identify opportunities to improve billing processes and enhance customer experience.

Qualifications :

2+ years of experience in billing, invoicing, or accounts receivable, preferably in a SaaS or subscription-based environment.

Familiarity with SaaS billing platforms and CRM systems.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools is a plus.

Preferred Experience :

Experience with tools like Zuora, Chargebee, Stripe, or similar.

Understanding of ASC 606 revenue recognition principles.

Prior experience supporting a high-volume, recurring billing environment.
