About The Position

Specialty accepted : Family Nurse Practitioner

Start date or shifts : ASAP ongoing

Practice setting : Outpatient primary care clinic

Types of procedures : Preventive health exams, wellness and chronic disease management, acute visits, ordering and interpreting diagnostics, prescribing within scope, patient education, minor procedures within scope, telehealth interactions, infection control practices

Ages : Adults with pediatrics in some locations

Requirements : Completed masters level Nurse Practitioner program from an accredited institution, active and unrestricted licensure, current national board certification, NPI and DEA, CPR BLS within sixty days of hire, minimum three years primary care experience, EMR experience, ability to work independently, experience with pediatric patients in some locations, workers compensation certification for New York required, ability to travel in some assignments, phlebotomy may be required, excellent assessment and communication skills, bilingual Spanish a plus

Additional information : Collaborative practice with physician oversight as needed, patient centered medical home approach, quality improvement participation, maintains confidentiality and complies with all regulations and policies
