Responsibilities Assignment is in an acute care hospital cath lab Daily caseload ranges from 8 to 12 cases Procedures include coronary diagnostic / intervention, peripheral diagnostic / intervention, and permanent pacemakers Patient population primarily includes those with coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, and cardiac arrhythmias Shift is 4x10 hour days from 6 : 30 AM to 5 : 00 PM No weekend shifts required Call is required as part of the assignment No floating required within the unit Uses Epic EMR and Epic experience is required Scrubs are provided for Cath Lab staff Locals are accepted for this position Responsibilities include assisting in diagnostic and interventional heart and vascular procedures as well as permanent pacemaker placements Orientation consists of 30 hours at the facility Returning staff must have a 3 month gap and may not live within 50 miles of the facility First-time travelers are accepted Block scheduling may be considered upon request Requested time off must be submitted at time of application and is subject to approval All travelers may be expected to float within the state per facility requirements Free parking is provided on the first day, with assignment parking after orientation Requirements Minimum 2 years of recent cath lab experience required Current ARRT certification, Fluoro Permit, BLS, and ACLS required; RCIS not accepted Willing to consider candidates with a pending Fluoro permit if application has been submitted Must provide at least 2 supervisory references from the last 3 years in a comparable specialty License required if applicable Epic EMR experience required Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-632371.
