Quick Take -

The Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist reports to the VP of Finance. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to Accounts Receivable billing, AR reconciliation, cash collections, general accounting reconciliations, as well as other special projects as assigned. The candidate must possess working knowledge of AR processes, PC skills, and the ability to interact with co-workers, clients, and vendors at peer and senior levels. The Finance Department is a relatively small group, so we all pitch in to do whatever needs to be done.

The Work -

• Process billings for our audit services business using our proprietary software.
• Assist with billings for our software SaaS and services business.
• Assist with client follow-ups on outstanding AR and provide support for inquiries.
• Administer the corporate credit card program.
• Administer corporate mobile phone program.
• Assist with monthly general ledger reconciliations.
• Complete misc. tasks as needed.
  
  

The Must-Haves -

• A working knowledge of Accounts Receivable and cash collections processes
• Strong technical skills in computing and analysis
• General ledger experience.
• One-two years experience in industry or public accounting
• Bachelor’s degree; preferred: BS in Accounting or Finance
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities.
• Ability to learn and perform multiple functions for redundancy within Finance.
• Ability to work with others within the company to solve finance related issues.
