Job Description

Director of Youth Ministry – 16 hours / week

§  Meets with youth (6th-12th grade) on Tuesday evenings

§  Plans monthly service or social outing

§  Leads an existing team of youth advisors from our congregation who support and assist with youth activities

§  Creates a welcoming environment

§  Involves students in the life of the congregation in Sunday worship, service and other activities

§  Coordinates youth Sunday School, teaching 2 quarters per year

§  Receives resourcing and support through Mosaic Mennonite Conference youth workers group

§  Qualifications : strong Christian faith commitment, ability to work with youth and adults, willingness to work collaboratively with pastors, families and other staff

§  Maintains Child Safety clearances as required for Mosaic Mennonite Conference
