What You'll Do :
Lead, manage and develop a team of 25 to 30 ShipMonk AssociatesCommunicate policies to Associates and act as the primary information source for the team, maintain compliance, consistency, and taking corrective action when neededUse software to keep records, edit, and manage the inventory flowFocus on the productivity, process, and quality of warehouse operations through warehouse KPIsReport to upper management on stock levels, issues, employee performance, etc.Constantly work to improve processesOptimize employee workflow (e.g. submit requests for the appropriate supplies) in order to maximize productivityEnsure that facility equipment is properly maintained and safeCommunicate with the warehouse manager to make critical decisionsTrain new warehouse associatesOversee warehouse sanitation in your assigned department. Adequate training on sanitation will be provided and the employee will be responsible to identify when sanitation fails and the appropriate actions that are needed to correctWhat You'll Need :
Associates or Bachelor's degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Management, Engineering or related field and / or Honorable Discharge from The United States Military as an NCO or higher rank preferredMinimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory roleWorking knowledge of inventory management softwareExcellent organization, planning skills, and strong attention to detailOutstanding communication and interpersonal abilitiesProven track record of taking ownership, driving results, and managing changeAbility to dive deep into data and provide thought-provoking, workable business solutionsAvailable to work on weekends, holidays, and overtime as neededAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentMust be able to stand for most of the dayAbility to lift up to 50lbs.ShipMonk is an equal opportunity employer.
