Job descriptionRegistered as an active Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the state where work is assigned and accepted. Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or related disciplines (Mechanical, Electrical, etc.). Two or more years of experience in failure analysis, residential construction, building codes, design, or related fields is highly preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong technical writing abilities and experience using Microsoft Word. Proficient with general computer skills (Microsoft Word, Google Chrome, etc.). Superior customer service skills, team-oriented, and service-minded. Ability to work efficiently without supervision. Access to high-speed internet and reliable cellular reception. Own or obtain a laptop with Microsoft Word and PDF editing software. Own or obtain necessary equipment to perform forensic projects. Stand for prolonged periods. Lift / move objects weighing 50-100 lbs. Climb onto roofs, ladders, scaffolding, etc. Balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl. Reach with hands and arms. Use hands to finger, handle, or feel. Drive for extended periods.

Key Responsibilities Include
- Site studies evaluating damages to materials or components for residential structures.
- Write a technical report providing detailed and accurate information on completed projects.
- Consistently communicate and document communication with clients to provide timelines and updates.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
