Introduction :

We are seeking a Manager, GBP Technical Sales Support to join our team. You will be responsible for leading a team of GBP (Grinding, Bulk, and Pyro) Technical Sales Support product experts, executing the business line product strategy for sales growth and profitability. In this role, you will work closely with Account Managers and Product Specialists to develop customer solutions and drive business growth. You will report to the Director, TSS / FS / REP, USA Mining Services.

This position will mainly be located in York, PA with up to 50% travel required. Flexible working arrangements may be available.

Team you belong to :

You will join a team of technical sales support specialists dedicated to delivering product expertise and supporting sales growth for GBP products. Our team collaborates closely with Account Managers, Product Line, Commercial Proposal, and Customer Logistics organizations. We value teamwork, customer focus, and continuous improvement, with team members located across various regions.

What you'll do :

  • Partner with Sales to implement campaigns, manage funnels, set priorities, and develop solutions.
  • Collaborate with Product Line to deploy product info, training, and value messaging.
  • Support Site Account Managers with training and resources to effectively sell GBP products.
  • Oversee sales case progress from lead generation through proposal and negotiation stages.
  • Coordinate strategic initiatives and assist with complex proposals for GBP products.
  • Maintain relationships with Customer Logistics to ensure competitive proposals and inventory alignment.
  • Participate in reviews and planning including product line updates, market intelligence, and resource allocation.
  • Support lifecycle services and warranty processes with product insights and improvement feedback.

Who you are :

  • Engineering degree or equivalent technical experience.
  • 5+ years in customer-focused roles, including interpreting specifications.
  • Familiarity with Metso BDH product range and mechanical drawings.
  • Strong customer service skills and willingness to engage in problem-solving.
  • High proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Salesforce, and SAP.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Motivated, deadline-driven, and skilled at building internal relationships.
