Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory Therapy

Location : Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center — Hershey, PA

Position Overview

Join the flagship hospital of Penn State Health as a Respiratory Therapist , where you'll deliver advanced respiratory care across diverse specialties—including trauma, stroke, heart and vascular, pediatric, and neurosurgery. This role offers professional growth within an inclusive culture and robust clinical team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced respiratory interventions and management in critical care and surgical settings.
  • Mentor junior therapists and support ongoing skills development.
  • Collaborate within interdisciplinary teams to elevate patient outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Active Respiratory Therapist license in Pennsylvania.
  • RRT credential from NBRC preferred at hire; required within 6 months.
  • AHA BLS certification required before completing orientation.
