About The Position

Job Title : Mammography Tech

Hours per Shift : 8 hours (08 : 00 - 16 : 30)

Experience : Minimum 1 year preferred, first timers accepted

License : GA or Compact license required

Certifications : BLS, ARRT R

Must-Have :

• 3-D Mammography
• Diagnostic Mammograms
• Fine Needle Aspiration
• Needle Localizations
• Screening Mammograms
• Stereotactic Biopsy
• Isolation Precautions

Description :

The position focuses on Mammography.

The unit serves a patient population of adults to geriatrics.

Compliance is required to start on time.

If not compliant in time, the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule.

The candidate will be reviewed clinically to determine fit.

If the clinical pass meets guidelines, the candidate will be forwarded for a final decision.

Call requirements are not applicable.

Travelers are expected to work on major holidays as needed.

If one major holiday falls during the assignment, the traveler is expected to work it.

If two major holidays fall during the assignment, the traveler is expected to work both.

If three major holidays occur during the assignment, the traveler must work two of the holidays.

Local candidates are accepted at the same rate.

Compliance document deadlines are set for the Tuesday prior to the start.

References are highly preferred at the time of submission.

Maximum time off is 7 days; required at the time of submission.
