Security Professional - Healthcare Site Patrol

As a Security Professional - Healthcare Site Patrol in Shelbyville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic healthcare location. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you interact with staff, patients, and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and communication. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to incidents, and support a welcoming environment. Pay Rate : $17.68 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTimeSat03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Sun03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist visitors, patients, and staff with directions and general inquiries while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Support access control procedures by monitoring entrances and exits as required by site protocols.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site staff to address security-related matters and contribute to a secure environment.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • A valid Security Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
