Associate Attorney – Carlsbad, CA

Salary : $120K / yr & Above (Depending on Experience Law firm will provide more salary)

A dynamic law firm in Carlsbad is seeking a full-time Associate Attorney with 2+ years of litigation experience , preferably in medical malpractice defense and general liability . This role offers the opportunity to work closely with small, collaborative teams of attorneys and paralegals, guided by seasoned trial lawyers with proven success in achieving outstanding client outcomes. Key Responsibilities :

Represent clients throughout all stages of litigation, from pre-trial to trial.
Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and agreements .
Attend court hearings, depositions, trials, and client meetings.
Conduct comprehensive legal research and case analysis.
Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategy and solutions.
Support business development initiatives and help foster strong client relationships.

Qualifications & Skills :

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Active membership in the California State Bar.

2–5 years of litigation experience , preferably in medical malpractice defense and / or general liability .

Solid understanding of State and Federal court procedures .

Strong litigation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills .

Excellent legal research, writing, and communication abilities.

Professional, approachable, and collaborative mindset.
