Job Title : Customer Operations / Sales Assistant

Location : Canton, MA

Type : Contract to Hire

Compensation : $22 to $25 / Hour

Contractor Work Model : Onsite, hybrid potential

CUSTOMER OPERATIONS / SALES ASSISTANT

SUMMARY

Will support the Customer Operations team with pre-project start activities and data clean-up in Salesforce. This role will help ensure accuracy and completeness of project information prior to order processing.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Review and update Salesforce project records to confirm all required information is complete and accurate.

Identify and follow up on missing or outdated data from sales, such as :

Missing discount percentages or credit splits

Outdated or inconsistent pricing details

Incomplete NOA (Notice of Award) documentation

Missing internal notes or attachments

Information on Freight Quotes, Warranty Fees, and Sales Tax Exemptions

Vendor Quotes (including tapered quotes and specialty items)

Communicate with sales to obtain or clarify missing information.

Track and document progress to ensure all required project fields and documents are complete prior to order initiation.

Track and report on trends related to missing or incomplete project information, including identifying sales representatives or regions with recurring data issues.

Assist with other administrative and data-related tasks as needed to support the Customer Operations team.

QUALIFICATIONS

1–3 years of recent, relevant experience; strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM / data systems preferred.

Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
