The Registered Dietitian Clinical facilitates the nutrition care process to provide individuals with quality medical nutrition therapy for common disease states and / or to promote optimal wellness.\n\n

Posting Specifics

Pay Rate : Based on Experience

Shift Details : Part-time (24 hrs / wk). The shift will be daytime : ~8 hours / day mostly Monday / Wednesday / Thursday, with additional unit coverage Sun-Sat rotating into weekends, call and holidays, with those hours being on top of normal schedule. Position is covering the Newborn Intensive Care Unit and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit with cross training to other units for coverage.

Location : Mainly Primary Children’s Lehi with some cross coverage to Primary Children’s Salt Lake.

Essential Functions

• Completes and documents nutrition assessment.
• Assess and interpret nutrition-related lab values.
• Identifies and documents nutrition diagnosis.
• Identifies and implements appropriate nutrition interventions including quality nutrition education based on customer needs, expectations, and culture.
• Monitors and evaluates individual nutrition outcomes related to nutrition diagnosis, goals, and interventions.
• Communicates nutrition expertise with all appropriate healthcare providers.
• Collaborates with other dietitians including referring patients to specialty-trained dietitians as appropriate.
• Supports nutrition care across the healthcare continuum.
• Participates in department continuous improvement projects.
• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist order writing privileges per policy / protocol.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

$29.14 - $44.94
