We have reimagined our contingent staffing plan with a new Enterprise Resource Pool that offers many options for flexibility variety and career growth while supporting our collective mission to deliver outstanding whole-person care to our flourishing communities. The Common Spirit Mountain Region Enterprise Resource Pool consists of both clinical and allied roles that flex or float throughout the Common Spirit Mountain Region system. Associates within the Enterprise Pool will have the opportunity to float to multiple units within one facility a geographic group of facilities or to all of our facilities. This pool will provide additional resources to support and supplement the workload and staffing needs across the system.

The Surgical Tech works under the supervision of the surgeon and RN. Assists surgical team during operative procedures by arranging and inventorying sterile set-up of instruments equipment and supplies for surgical cases and passing items to surgeons and nurses as needed. Assists in preparing and moving patients and sterilizing and cleaning instruments equipment and rooms.

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day qualified candidates will need the following :

1 year minimum of hospital surgical tech experience required

High School Diploma or GED required

Completion of an approved Surgical Technician program required.

Current registration with the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) as a surgical technologist for associates working in Colorado.

Physical Requirements - Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally and / or up to 20lbs frequently and / or up to 10lbs constantly)
