Part Time Claims Assistant

Responsibilities :
- Review and compile medical records using computer systems while ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Log claims and appeals requests as directed by the Claims Department Manager, following established procedures.
- Organize and provide medical records from Net Health and SharePoint to the appropriate reviewer.
- Maintain detailed tracking of requests, submissions, denials, and appeals according to departmental standards.
- Respond promptly to facility requests, ensuring timely communication and resolution.
- Submit records online or via physical mail, adhering to required formats and guidelines.
- Generate and pull necessary reports as requested by management.
- Maintain clean and accurate spreadsheets to track claims-related data.
- Organize medical records based on provided checklists and department protocols.
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree preferred.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.Excellent communication skills with a courteous and attentive demeanor.Proficiency in or willingness to learn Microsoft Excel and other similar programs.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Demonstrated efficiency and productivity in completing tasks.Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new systems and procedures.Previous experience in benefits administration or a related field is a plus.
