Opportunity :

Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology

Job Details :

  • Work 3x8 hour day shifts, 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM, Wednesday through Friday
  • No floating, on-call, or weekend requirements
  • Prepare and administer correct radiopharmaceutical dosages to patients
  • Operate imaging equipment to scan requested body areas
  • Explain procedures to patients and provide reassuring, calming support
  • Maintain imaging equipment and ensure safe operation
  • Work with adult patient population in single-room nuclear medicine department
  • May float to other locations if census is low on home unit
  • 2 years of experience required for submission
  • Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
  • Valid state license required at time of submission
  • Required certifications : BLS, CNMT, ARRT N (all AHA certified)
  • Epic charting experience preferred
  • Skills include working with GE, Hitachi, Phillips, Siemens, Toshiba equipment, HIDA scans, perfusion studies, stress tests, IV management, and radioactive material handling
  • Complete orientation modules averaging 1-5 hours through e-learning system
