Job : .NET Architect
Location : Southlake, TX / Hybrid
Overview
We are seeking an experienced and strategic .NET Architect to lead the design and delivery of scalable, high-performance enterprise solutions using the Microsoft .NET technology stack. This role will work closely with engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to define architecture roadmaps, enforce architectural standards and patterns, and provide technical leadership for development teams.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the technical vision and architecture for our .NET-based applications, encompassing backend, integration, data and possibly cloud infrastructure.
Translate business requirements into high-level and low-level architecture (HLD / LLD), design documents, solution prototypes, and migration strategies.
Define and enforce architectural guidelines, standards, best practices, and patterns (e.g., clean architecture, domain-driven design (DDD), microservices, event-driven).
Drive technology selection decisions : frameworks, libraries, platforms (e.g., .NET / .NET Core, ASP.NET, Web API, Entity Framework, SQL Server, NoSQL, caching, messaging).
Architect and lead implementation of distributed systems, APIs, microservices, integrations, and cloud-native services (preferably Azure, but AWS / GCP can apply).
Collaborate with DevOps, QA, security and operations teams to ensure CI / CD pipelines, monitoring / logging / observability, performance, reliability, and security are integral to the architecture.
Mentor, review code / architecture of developers / tech leads, provide architectural reviews, conduct proof of concepts, spike explorations, and ensure architectural governance.
Participate in agile / SAFe ceremonies, backlog refinement, sprint planning, architecture grooming, and technical risk / issue identification and mitigation.
Maintain awareness of emerging technologies, frameworks and industry trends and assess their applicability to the business.
Serve as a bridge between business and technical stakeholders : presenting architecture designs, trade-off discussions, articulating non-functional requirements (scalability, availability, maintainability, security, cost).
