We are seeking a R&D Technician to join our R&D team. Individuals should have an interest in supporting scientific projects and laboratory testing, have good written and verbal communication skills, be independently motivated, and be computer proficient.
This position will be required to work out of the Schaumburg, IL office.
Salary range : $42K-$50K, commensurate with experience

RESPONSIBILITIES
The job responsibilities of this position may include, but are not limited to :
Assist in preparing formulations for dental materials (e.g., adhesives, composites, etc.)Assist in preparing dental specimens for material testingConduct material characterization, physical property, application, and analytical testingDocumentation of laboratory experimentsProvide technical support, training, and general information on laboratory activitiesAssist in the maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment and instrumentsAssist in laboratory cleanliness via 5S (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain) activitiesConduct work in a safe and effective manner in accordance with all HSE requirements.Participate in Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) initiativesComply with BISCO policies and proceduresPerform other laboratory duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS
Required
High School Diploma or GEDGeneral computer skills (Windows, email, internet); proficient in MS Office applications (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel); able to learn and use business software applicationsAble to use or learn to use laboratory equipment, instruments, and lab notebooksAble to communicate technical informationPreferred
