Position Overview :
The Front of House Server is an essential part of the Skylodge Restaurant team, responsible for providing polished, attentive, and intuitive service to our private, high-end clientele. You’ll deliver a seamless dining experience — anticipating guest needs, supporting your teammates, and embodying a spirit of Unreasonable Hospitality in every interaction. This role blends fine dining professionalism with the warmth and authenticity that define the Powder Mountain experience.

Hospitality & Guest Experience
Provide warm, elevated, polished, and professional service that reflects Powder Mountain’s values.Anticipate guest needs, personalize each interaction, and create memorable moments.Work in close partnership with the culinary and beverage teams to ensure seamless service.Foster a positive, team-oriented environment — no task is too small.Maintain discretion and professionalism with all guests and private members.Service Excellence
Present evolving menus with confidence, highlighting daily features and offering thoughtful recommendations that enhance the guest experience.Take precise food and beverage orders, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and timely delivery.Reset tables and deliver service in accordance with refined French and Forbes-style dining standards.Assist with setup, breakdown, and resetting of dining areas across all four dining services.Support special events, private functions, and unique dining experiences as needed.Respond to guest feedback or concerns with empathy, professionalism, and a commitment to creating positive outcomes.Operations & Compliance
Operate POS systems accurately for orders and payments.Maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in all front-of-house areas.Adhere to all Utah health, safety, and alcohol service regulations.Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned.Requirements and / or Qualifications :
21+ years of ageRequired : Utah Food Handler’s Permit and Utah Sips & Tips Certification2+ years serving experience preferred (fine dining or high-end resort experience a plus)Excellent communication and teamwork skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to anticipate guest needsProfessional, polished appearance and consistent hygieneReliable transportation (mountain driving or public transit capable)Physical Requirements- Must be able to perform physical activities such as, but not limited to :
Full range of body movementsReach, push, pull, lift, and carry objects that may be heavy (40+lbs)Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, and twistingWalk on even / uneven / slippery terrainClimb / descend stairs / laddersSafely handle hazardous materialsWorking Environment :
