Faculty Member with OB Sought for Our Newest Family Medicine Residency in Chambersburg, PA

This is a unique opportunity for a family physician with knowledge and passion to help build the Obstetrics Model for the ACGME accredited residency program. Design the OB model with the support of an integrated health system that boasts two other FM residencies. Core faculty will divide their time supervising resident inpatient care, advising and mentoring residents, working administratively for the ongoing growth of the residency program and seeing their own patient panel in the office. Ongoing opportunities for faculty development through mentoring and conferences available.

The right candidate will be a board-certified family physician with obstetrics and teaching experience, to provide clinical, educational and administrative services as core faculty at our inaugural Family Medicine residency at WellSpan Health in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.

Position Highlights

Point person for the design and build of the OB model within the residency program

• Develop high-quality educational curriculum and experiential rotations per ACGME requirements
• Be an integral part of the team, building an unopposed, 6-6-6- program
• First class of residents started July 2025
• Assist in the interview, selection, evaluation and mentoring of residents
• Opportunity for community involvement
• OB is required for this role
