Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Night shifts, 4x12 hours (19 : 00 - 07 : 00), with every other weekend required. Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Telemetry to provide progressive care and monitoring for both pre / post-operative surgical cardiovascular patients and medical cardiac patients. The role also includes care for vascular patients, amputations, and detox patients. Responsibilities Deliver exceptional nursing care to medical cardiac patients requiring telemetry monitoring. Administer medications and perform necessary procedures such as IV therapy, blood product administration, and management of central lines. Monitor and intervene in cases of dysrhythmias using established protocols and respond to emergencies as part of the Rapid Response / Code teams. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including IV teams, physical therapy, and respiratory services. Perform patient assessments and document findings accurately in the Cerner charting system. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a telemetry or progressive care unit setting. Current RN license in West Virginia or compact state. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred. Experience with IV therapy, phlebotomy, central line care, and telemetry monitoring is preferred.
