Qualifications for OR Tech – Certified First Assist

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Operating Room Technician (ORT) certification required

Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a First Assist in the operating room

Experience in orthopedic surgery required

Robotic surgery experience preferred

Strong teamwork and communication skills in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Key Responsibilities

Assist surgeons during operative procedures as a Certified First Assist

Prepare and maintain sterile field in the operating room

Support orthopedic and robotic surgical cases

Handle surgical instruments and supplies with precision

Collaborate with the surgical healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care
