Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Surgical Technologist to join a dynamic surgical team in Manchester, CT . This day shift, full-time role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced operating room environment and is committed to ensuring safe and efficient surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities :

Prepare the operating room and surgical instruments before procedures

Assist surgeons and nurses during operations by passing instruments and maintaining a sterile field

Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and respond promptly

Ensure proper care, handling, and sterilization of surgical equipment

Maintain accurate counts of instruments, sponges, and needles

Follow all infection control and safety standards

Assist with room turnover and post-op cleanup

Job Requirements

Requirements :

Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program

Certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred

BLS certification required

1+ year of recent experience in a surgical / OR setting preferred

Excellent knowledge of sterile techniques and surgical procedures

Ability to work 40 hours / week on day shifts
